Privacy Policy
Effective July 2, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Sheetmaxx collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and application. Sheetmaxx helps users process forms and append reviewed data to Google Sheets.
2. Information we collect
We may collect account information, authentication details, billing status, uploaded documents, extracted form data, spreadsheet target settings, product usage events, device information, and support communications.
3. Google user data
If you choose to connect Google Sheets, Sheetmaxx requests access to your Google account through Google OAuth so the application can provide the spreadsheet features you ask to use. Sheetmaxx is designed to access only Google Drive files you choose for the app. The Google user data Sheetmaxx may access, collect, or interact with includes:
- your connected Google account email address, used to show which account is connected;
- Google OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiration times, and granted scopes, used to keep the Sheets connection working until you disconnect it;
- Google Sheets spreadsheet identifiers, spreadsheet titles, spreadsheet URLs, sheet/tab names, sheet identifiers, column headers, and related target settings for spreadsheets you choose through Sheetmaxx; and
- spreadsheet cell values or row data that you choose to review, map, preview, read, create, update, or append through Sheetmaxx.
Sheetmaxx uses Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing spreadsheet functionality, including connecting your Google account, confirming access to spreadsheets you choose, saving spreadsheet targets and mappings, creating or updating spreadsheet rows that you approve, showing connection status, troubleshooting errors, preventing abuse, and maintaining reliable operation of the service.
Sheetmaxx does not sell Google user data. Sheetmaxx does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized ads, interest-based ads, credit decisions, lending purposes, data broker services, or information reseller services. Sheetmaxx does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Sheetmaxx does not share Google user data with third parties except as necessary to provide the requested application features, comply with law, protect the service from security or abuse issues, or complete a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with appropriate user notice or consent when required. Service providers that process data for Sheetmaxx are authorized to use the data only as needed to provide services to Sheetmaxx.
Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and are not returned to the browser. Google user data is protected using reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls, account-scoped storage, private storage, and secure transport where supported.
You can disconnect Google Sheets access from your Sheetmaxx account settings. Disconnecting removes stored Google OAuth tokens from Sheetmaxx and stops future API access unless you reconnect. You may also revoke Sheetmaxx access from your Google Account permissions. Saved spreadsheet targets, mappings, append logs, and related account records may be retained as described in the data retention section below unless you request deletion and deletion is permitted by legal and operational requirements.
4. How we use information
We use information to operate Sheetmaxx, authenticate users, process uploaded documents, generate extraction results, append approved rows, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and communicate about the service.
5. Service providers
We may share information with vendors that help provide hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, payment processing, email, AI processing, and customer support. These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to perform services for Sheetmaxx.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Sheetmaxx, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. You may request deletion of account information, subject to legal and operational limits.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use strong credentials and keep your account access private.
8. Your choices
You may update account information, disconnect Google access, cancel subscriptions, or stop using Sheetmaxx. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information.
9. Cookies, consent, and advertising measurement
Sheetmaxx uses necessary cookies for authentication, security, and product functionality. With your consent where required, Sheetmaxx also uses Google Ads tags to measure whether advertising leads to account creation or a first paid subscription. CookieYes provides the consent banner, stores your choices, and communicates those choices to Google through Consent Mode.
If you consent to advertising measurement, Sheetmaxx may send Google a normalized, one-way SHA-256 hash of the email address associated with your authenticated account as an enhanced-conversion identifier. Google uses this hash to match conversions to prior ad interactions; Sheetmaxx does not send the plain email address in the conversion event. Conversion events may also include an opaque transaction identifier, plan value, currency, and consent status. You can change your choices at any time through the Cookie preferences link in the site footer.
10. Children
Sheetmaxx is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Sheetmaxx changes. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
12. Contact
Questions about privacy may be sent through Sheetmaxx support or through PDX Intelligence.
